Not long after the death of his close friend Christopher Hitchens, neuroscientist and philosopher Sam Harris was scheduled to give a lecture at a speaking engagement. Whatever his original topic had been, Harris changed it at the last minute and chose instead to focus on the life and memory of the one and only Hitch. The full hour-long speech is fascinating from beginning to end, but earlier today I discovered this video which takes nearly 6 minutes of that speech and combines it with some beautifully appropriate visuals in an edited vignette entitled It Is Always Now.
