This crosses a major line as far as I’m concerned. Death is an inevitable part of the human experience — an essential one to be perfectly honest. It is a fundamental quotient of any human being’s path towards personal growth, and even enlightenment. But in a new proposal being considered, it may soon be possible for grief to be diagnosed as a mental disorder via the Diagnostic Manual For The American Psychiatric Association. The following NBC report disturbed me to such an extent that I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind for the past 4 days. Watch the report for yourself below, and try your hardest to imagine how a proposal as outrageous as this one could not be possible without the help of lobbyists from the pharmaceutical industry. Unbelievable.
