I’ve been loving much of M83’s new album Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming, especially the moodier instrumental tracks such as “Where The Boats Go” and “When Will You Come Home?”. And yesterday I came across what appears to be a fan-made music video for one of M83’s other standout selections off the album, the emotional and rapturous “Wait”. The video is a beautifully assembled collection of space era footage from the 1960s and seems to track the life of a NASA space chimp who luckily manages to escape from Earth right before the whole thing goes to hell. You can follow M83 on Facebook, MySpace, as well as his website ILOVEM83.com. You can stream Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming by visiting Urban Outfitters and clicking on the M83 thumbnail.
