The Best Zika-Free Sunny Destinations & 3 Great Hacks To Save Hundreds On Holiday Flights & Hotels

Now that hurricane season is almost over and Christmas is two months away, we find ourselves in the middle of two of the best months for vacation travel. Late October to late December is a sweet spot for vacation deals, and Misty Belles recently sat down with Hoda Kotb on TODAY to share some expert tips on various tricks that will help you save hundreds on flights and hotels over the next couple months and even Christmas. Some of her best tips to save as much as possible are: book before November 1st, book your flights on weekends or early mornings for the best deals, and December 19th seems to be one of the cheapest days to travel. Misty also gives some great tips on sunny destinations that are Zika-free — one of those being Hawaii, which gives me a great excuse to embed Passion Passport‘s incredible timelapse photo of the island’s Mauna Kea volcano which caught my eye last week. I also added a few more travel pics below which might inspire you to book that trip before Halloween and reap all those savings.
