Renowned light artist, James Turrell, recently brought his legendary magic touch to a small memorial chapel in a Berlin cemetery (Google Map). Using his trademark style of neon colors, Turrell created a custom 2-hour light show for the chapel to coincide with the light coming from the sunset. The Creators Project notes, “An optical illusion makes the sunset’s light, coming in through the opaque windows, appear amber when the chapel is lit in blue, and green when it glows magenta.” I’ve also added Turrell’s 2013 on Charlie Rose below.
