Four Tet successfully managed to upload his new remix of the Tangents’ track “Jindabyne” yesterday, despite the fact that Soundcloud had originally taken it down due to copyright violations. Four Tet received a notification which read, “Our automatic content protection system has detected that one of your tracks may contain copyrighted content.” Four Tet took to Twitter to blast the streaming site, and Soundcloud technicians relented and allowed the remix to stay up. The remix will be part of his upcoming album, Stateless, and you can see the nastiness that went down on Twitter by visiting FADER.com. For all things Four Tet check out FourTet.net.
