Perched atop a hillside bluff overlooking the beauty of Case Inlet in southern Puget Sound in the distance (65 miles southwest of Seattle) is this incredible award-winning cabin residence designed by the team at MW Works Architecture & Design. Coming in at a relatively modelst 2,800 sq.ft., the home sits within a gorgeous 20-acre property. The minimal design was part of the clients’ wish list, as they didn’t want their weekend home overloaded with any over-the-top ornamentation, frills, or materiality — “keep it simple” was their goal here. Natural lighting, energy efficiency, a passive ventilation system, and beautifully composed views make the cabin at-one with its natural surroundings.
