Featuring a silver-skinned sleepyhead lost in a dream, the visuals take us on a hallucinatory trip to the Moon where the tin man falls in love with the woman of his dreams, and, well — things get even weirder after that. The single is off the band’s brand new album The Air Conditioned Nightmare, which is titled after Henry Miller’s 1945 collection of essays. Frontman Airick Woodhead tells Pitchfork: “Conflict is at the heart of this album. There’s a lot of paranoid sentiment and Dystopian imagery in there. The threat of a mundane reality ties it together, as does an obsession with plasticity. Songs come from specific feelings or images.
