We’re only ten short days from Stephen Colbert’s final episode of his brilliant series The Colbert Report on December 18th, before he takes several months to prepare for his new job as host of The Late Show in 2015. On Monday night’s episode from a Washington theatre at Georgetown University, viewers got twice the Presidential treatment they were hoping for. President Obama had already been announced as Monday night’s guest several days earlier, but folks in the audience were shocked when the Commander-in-Chief took the stage earlier than expected and took over the anchor desk. You can watch the full segment above. Nothing short of comedy gold to say the least.
