Tim Hecker is the brilliant Canadian experimental electronic producer whose highly anticipated new album, Virgins, is set for release on October 14th. For diehard fans these two next weeks might seem like a long time to wait, but considering the timeless soundscapes that Hecker creates, the wait will be more than worth it. Case in point is the brand new track entitled “Refracting Black” which was released from the album earlier this morning. It’s a gorgeous work, made even more hypnotically beautiful by director and video artist Sabrina Ratté.
