Earlier this morning I was enjoying the beautifully redesigned new website of DUMMY.  Appropriately, the first article I read with their fresh new look profiled their favorite albums of 2013 so far.  Some of them I had already heard of, and some I had not, but one review that caught my eye above the others was their profile of CLOUD BOAT’s debut album Book Of Hours.  I quickly grabbed my own copy and just finished listening to it in its full amazingness.  As DUMMY notes in their review: “The ‘Book Of Hours’ concept occurred to singer Tom Clarke, one half of London-based duo CLOUD BOAT, on a trip to the British Library.  ‘They have these Books of Hours; they’re small books that people used to write confessions and prayers in, and you used to decorate them and once they were finished you would always keep it on your person.”  You can learn more about the album by reading DUMMY‘s review (look for review #10), and to pick up your own copy simply head over to iTunes.  For all things CLOUD BOAT be sure to visit CLOUDBOAT.co.uk, and follow them on Facebook and Twitter.
