Kristen Wiig plays Imogene, a neurotic 30-something who suffers a breakdown in the brand new film Girl Most Likely from directors Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini (American Splendor). Adding insult to injury, the court orders Wiig to be taken under the wing of her “unconventional” Jersey mom played by Annette Bening. In the brand new trailer for the film which arrived this morning, it’s clear this mother-daughter team have a severely dysfunctional relationship. With one step inside her mother’s house Imogene gets a head-on taste of what the experience is going to be like, thanks to her mother’s crazy boyfriend (played by Matt Dillon), and a teenage kid who’s renting out her old room (played by Darren Criss). I’ll be the first in line when Imogene opens in theatres on July 19th. Wiig’s upcoming films include: Anchorman: The Legend Continues and The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty. Kristen Wiig is set to host Saturday Night Live on May 11th which promises to be 90 minutes of some of the best television ever made.
