Brisbane-based quartet MITZI just opened up free streaming of their brand new album Truly Alive, and less than 15-minutes after pressing play, I think I’ve successfully tricked my brain into thinking it’s a hot and sweaty bliss-fueled day in mid-July. Released via Sydney-based indie dance record label Future Classic, Truly Alive showcases MITZI’s unique brand of garage disco, NYC indie with the light-heartedness of Australian pop. It’s the perfect antidote to one of the coldest fucking days we’ve had all winter here in Montreal, so I plan on keeping this album within arm’s reach for a few more months to come.
