Los Angeles-based sisters Danielle, Alana, and Este Haim first began making music in back in 2006, but if you haven’t yet heard of HAIM then that’s about to change in a very major way. Their sound has been famously described as “nu-folk–meets–nineties–R&B” and “music that sounds like it was written on a lakeside retreat attended by Stevie Nicks, John Waite and En Vogue”. Earlier this week they released their brand new single “Falling” and it has me spinning around in my early-’90s memories from back in the day. Ohhh, le sigh.
