Austin-based band PURE X‘s 2011 album Pleasure is quite simply one of the greatest albums of the past decade in my opinion, so earlier today when DUMMY let it be known that the band was set to release a brand new record I pretty much shat my pants in the best way possible. Entitled Crawling Up The Stairs, today the group treated us to the album’s very first track entitled “Things In My Head”. As for me, there’s only one thing in my head right now — the date of May 14th. That’s when PURE X will bestow upon their fans what will almost certainly be on of 2013’s most standout albums without question.
