Valentine’s Day is about as interesting to me as that shit I took last Tuesday. Even if I was in a relationship right now I would still be as skeptical as the day is long about the most manufactured annual celebration of the entire year. Humans, by nature, are pattern-seeking creatures, so chances are that some listeners will hear Evan Abeele‘s (of MEMORYHOUSE) new song “To Scale” on Valentine’s Day and be inspired to find a hidden meaning and be inspired to buy their lover a box of cheap chocolates and even cheaper champagne. But yours truly has been listening to it on V-Day without the need to slather it with romantic intentions. It’s simply a gorgeous song — the end. Take a listen to it below, and to pick up your own copy simply head over to Evan’s Bandcamp page by CLICKING HERE.
