When Washed Out (a.k.a. Ernest Greene) released his LP Within And Without in the summer of 2011 it became my life’s soundtrack for at least a month or so, and his standout track “A Dedication” remains one of my favorite songs to this day. Since his debut, Washed Out has earned himself a stellar reputation as one of the most reputable artists of the chillwave genre, and earlier this week he gave us our first listen to his newest material. Entitled “The Sound Of Creation”, the song is part of the eponymous new ad campaign for Philips, and you can stream it in full below.
