I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve listened to THE SEA & CAKE‘s highly addictive track “Harps” off their brand new album Runner.  The song is so damn good I’d probably include it on my list of 50 songs to take with me on a deserted island.  The video is pretty great too and you can watch it below.  And speaking of THE SEA & CAKE’s music videos, they just released the brand new one for their track “On And On” where they gave free creative and artistic range to Kyoto-based animator Naomi Nagata.  For the stop motion animation Nagata used a traditional Japanese scroll and brings to life a ribbon of sand.  You can get the full story by visiting NOWNESS.  You can pick up your own copy of THE SEA & CAKE’s Runner on iTunes, and the band kicked off their North American tour in Toronto in mid-October which wraps up soon in Dallas and Austin in mid-November.  You can get the full list of tour dates by visiting THESEAandCAKE.com.
