Indie vets THE SEA & CAKE released their latest album Runner in mid-September, and last Friday they dropped their brand new video for the irresistibleness that is “Harps”. The video follows two young girlfriends in the 1970s as they spend a day playin’, laughin’, smokin’, and makin’ the most of the recording equipment they find in the garbage. Together they capture the sounds of everything from a peeled banana to stepped-on sand. If you were just born yesterday and realized we’re heading into the greyest, wettest, coldest time of the year — this might just cheer you up. You can pick up your own copy of THE SEA & CAKE’s Runner on iTunes, and the band kicked off their North American tour in Toronto in mid-October which wraps up in Dallas and Austin in mid-November.
