At 50-years-old, it’s incredible to see how the James Bond franchise continues to evolve into impressive new terrain. In their brand new review of the latest entry SKYFALL, directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty), The Playlist’s Oliver Lyttelton opens with the interesting tidbit that Christopher Nolan has long expressed interest in directing an instalment in the series. But as Lyttelton points out, Nolan may now be second-guessing that wish because Sam Mendes “has essentially made a Christopher Nolan Bond film before Christopher Nolan got the chance.” He even notes that SKYFALL could very well be Sam Mendes’ greatest film to-date. You can read the entire glowing review by visiting The Playlist. To learn more about the film be sure to visit the movie’s official site.
