Leanne Macomber and Geoffrey Louis are the masters behind FIGHT BITE, the dream pop duo with one foot in Brooklyn and the other safely tucked into Austin. Last week they released their brilliant music video for “Charlotte Iris” and it’s my newest obsession as of this morning. Directed by Gusti Fink, “Charlotte Iris” takes the viewer on a journey through what could easily been a surreal dreamscape of Max Headroom himself all the way back in 1985. With tanning beds, clouds, and crashed chrome cars galore, “Charlotte Iris” is more than just a love letter to Enya, glitch art, and quarter century-old 3D modelling — it’s a thing of beauty into and of itself. To enter the world of FIGHT BITE be sure to follow them on Facebook and pick up your own copy of their must-have self-titled album via Bandcamp. To see more phenomenal work from director Gusti Fink you can head over to GustiFink.com and visit his Vimeo channel.
