I’m half-tempted to pop open a bottle of wine and toast my computer screen right now. That’s how happy I was when I watched the teaser trailer for FLYING LOTUS‘ highly anticipated new album Until The Quiet Comes is which is set for release on October 2, 2012 (you can pre-order your own copy today on iTunes). A huge bear hug goes out to FLYING LOTUS on this one becasue I’ve almost always been disappointed by album teasers from my favorite artists. But in this case he raises the bar high enough to create something that is nothing short of sublime. Directed by Kahlil Joseph, the 3:50 video presents three of the album’s tracks: “I See Thru To U (feat. Erykah Badu)”, “Hunger (feat. Niki Randa)” and “Getting There (feat. Niki Randa)”. Take one look for yourself and you will be counting the days until October 2nd I can promise you that.
