Last night I caught this NBC Nightly News report which has to be the most fascinating set of poll results I have ever seen in my life. The results were so anomalous and revealing that anchor and editor Brian Williams assembled his top four chief political correspondents to take a look at the numbers because they revealed more than just the mood of the American electorate — they revealed a highly volatile pattern that hasn’t appeared since the violent protests of the summer of 1968. Apart from the intriguing analysis of what happens when you put Romney against Gingrich, or Gingrich against Obama, etc., the stats predict a huge storm brewing on the horizon — one that caused their editorial team enough alarm that they felt compelled to warn their viewers the summer of 2012 could be one filled with massive protests and social unrest — the likes of which the United States hasn’t seen in 44 years. Check out the disquieting report below.
