Music sampling has always been right on the edge of music technology, but ironically Ishac Bertran has found a way to embrace a brand new technology in order to give a big wet kiss to to an older one. By using a laser cutter, Bertran has developed a technique of cutting out radial segments of old vinyl records and replacing them with exactly the same size replacement pieces from different records.
