Kim Pimmel is the very definition of an artist gone viral. Two days ago he uploaded a stunning video he created using ferrofluid (a black magnetic liquid), soap bubbles, and magnetism, and it garnered 80,000 hits in 48 hours. The world is falling for Kim and his work in a major way, and the breadth of his creativity adds an extra layer of intrigue to his creations. Kim is a San Francisco-based Experience Designer for Adobe XDCE, a Photographer, a DJ, and succinctly describes himself as a “maker”. From his art-meets-science timelapse videos, to his Spirograph-esque turntable light pulses, Pimmel will pummel you with his provocative prowess.
