Tilda Swinton’s upcoming thriller We Need To Talk About Kevin has just received its first international trailer, further raising the already high level of intrigue surrounding this latest cinematic offering from director Lynne Ramsay. The story centers on Swinton’s relationship with her troubled son who, through the years, becomes increasingly out of control and eventually sociopathic. The film shook its Cannes audiences to the core, with the overwhelming majority of audience members describing the film as a shocking, horrific, and fascinating masterpiece that takes days to shake off the goosebumps. And apart from being a stunning directorial return to the silver screen for Lynne Ramsay, critics are describing Swinton’s performance as “out of this world”.
