This past weekend I went to see the Stars perform their closing concert for their The Five Ghosts tour. It was one of those shows where the performers didn’t just put in 100% … they gave it 1000%. Their hearts, souls, blood, sweat, and tears were heard (and seen) in every single note. Thankfully I was there to share it with my good friend Laura and her BF, Cesar. If Laura and I were to narrow down a soundtrack for the last decade that we’ve spent in Montreal, the Stars would be in the Top 3, if not the the Top 1. And “Ageless Beauty” is one of the most meaningful songs of them all.
John Keats once wrote, “A thing of beauty is a joy forever: its loveliness increases; it will never pass into nothingness.” I couldn’t have said it better myself.
