COLLECTIVE SHADOW is the Austin-based experimental synth duo comprised of Silent Land Time Machine and fellow Texan producer SYMBOL. Recently their brand new music video for “Transference” was premiered by the team at DUMMY (who also happen to be huge fans of Silent Land Time Machine as you will see HERE), and it’s something special indeed. Directed by Eli Welbourne (who DUMMY notes is also one half of Austin synth-pop duo Silent Diane), the video showcases a pirouetting ballet dancer bathed in some sort of low-res Kinect-style scanning system (I can’t quite figure out exactly how Welbourne achieved this, but I’m dying to find out — email me at FEELguide@gmail.com if you know the answer). Silent Land Time Machine and SYMBOL are currently on the road for their North American tour and you can check out their full list of tour dates by visiting IndianQueenRecords.com. See y’all in Montreal Sunday night!
