The Ancient Ram Inn is a Grade II-listed building and a former pub located in Wotton-Under-Edge, a market town within the Stroud district of Gloucestershire, England. This famous inn is owned by and the home to John Humphries. It has been owned by many people from 1145 to today. Many people lived here either as a tenant or over night guests. The Ancient Ram Inn was said to have also been owned by the local St. Mary’s Church when first built.
The Ancient Ram Inn is one of the top three most haunted locations in the world and has been investigated by countless paranormal researchers, most notably the television series Ghost Adventures (featuring Zac Bagans) and the show that started them all: Most Haunted (featuring the amazing Yvette Fielding). The Most Haunted episode is the best of the two, and in the 14-season history of the show, the Ancient Ram Inn investigation is one of the most talked-about episodes of the hundreds of investigations they recorded.
